Master Claude Code Dynamic Workflows (49 Agents)
You will run your own dynamic workflow in Claude Code: one prompt that makes Claude build two specialized agent teams, research a market study, and hand you a finished Markdown report.

Passo a passo
Know when a dynamic workflow fits
Save dynamic workflows for long, complex tasks where you need to fan out a lot of work. A static workflow uses general purpose subagents. A dynamic workflow picks a specialized agent type, a model sized to each job, and only the tools each agent needs, so the result fits your use case more closely.
Open Claude Code
Start a session in Claude Code. Dynamic workflows only run there right now. In Cowork you only get static workflows.
Paste the prompt and ask for a dynamic workflow
Describe the task, name the teams you want, and set limits (here, at most five companies per country). The key part: say outright that you want a dynamic workflow.
Market study prompt from the videoHey Claude, I am running a market study. I need to break it down into a dynamic workflow. First, I need a team of agents to analyze country data, and then a second specialized team to analyze company data. We're targeting France and also the Netherlands, and I want to study companies that are doing heavy investments in AI. At most five companies per geography. And here comes the key part: please use a dynamic workflow for this.
Keep standard high reasoning and answer its questions
You don't need the extra reasoning level. Standard high reasoning is enough. Send the prompt and answer the questions Claude asks. Setting up the specialized agents took about three minutes in the video.
Check the two teams and watch the agents work
Read the team breakdown Claude gives you. In the video, team one covered countries and team two covered the shortlisted companies. Click the card to see each agent's tokens, tool calls and running time.
Watch your token budget
The video hit 400,000 tokens within 50 seconds. On the $100 plan, run this at most once or twice a day. On the $200 plan, you can run it a couple of times a day.
Read why Claude chose a dynamic workflow
Check Claude's explanation. Here, nobody knew which companies would be researched until the first team finished, so the first team passed its findings to the second team, which wrote the report.
Collect the report and turn it into a deliverable
When the run finishes, open the Markdown report file (the video's run used 49 subagents and 4 million tokens). Then ask Claude to make a slide deck from it or to write a short summary of the research.
Pick your next use case
Write down the tasks where one agent would be overloaded with information and test them one at a time. I suggest recruitment, product development, CRM reactivation, and analyzing large data sets, Excel files or Google Sheets with thousands of rows.
Fique atento a
Token use is very high: the full run used 4 million tokens, about half of my usage for the next five hours. On a lower plan it will use up your tokens very fast.
Dynamic workflows only run in Claude Code. Cowork only offers static workflows.
If you don't ask for a dynamic workflow outright, Claude may pick a static one with general purpose agents and give you a more generic result.
Giving one Claude instance or one agent a large pile of information makes the output a lot worse. Split big jobs across teams instead.
