Claude Code Artifacts Explained in 3 Minutes
You will turn a long Claude Code session into a hosted webpage (an artifact) and share it with your colleagues using one short prompt and the Share button.
O que você precisa
Claude Code (claude.ai/code) on a Teams or Enterprise plan
A Claude Code session with work you want to share (for example a market study)
A colleague to send it to (or just yourself)
Passo a passo
Know what an artifact is
An artifact is a simple webpage that shows the work you did. Artifacts have been in Claude chat for a while; now Claude Code can make them too. They help because a raw session is hard to follow: text is not an efficient way to keep track of information when you use AI at scale.
Check your plan
Claude Code turns the whole conversation into a webpage hosted on Anthropic's infrastructure, so you need no other service to share it. Confirm your account is on the Teams or Enterprise plan, the plans where this is available.
Finish your session in Claude Code
Do the work first. In the video, I ran a market study session (a market overview for France and the Netherlands) that I needed to share with a colleague. Instead of sending that block of text, you will ask for an artifact.
Ask Claude Code for an artifact
Paste this prompt into the same session. You do not need anything more detailed: just ask it to create an artifact for you.
Prompt from the videoCreate an artifact for me to share this.
Use it for yourself too
You do not have to share it. In long sessions it is easy to lose track of what you did. Create an artifact to keep a record of the whole session and stay focused on what you are trying to achieve.
Review the result
Wait for Claude Code to build the page (mine took about two minutes). Open it and check that it covers the session. This one page replaces an HTML file you would otherwise send, which can go out of date after a few iterations.
Put the right content in it
If you code with Claude Code, include the code changes you made. For business work, show the before and after from the session, for example a reporting or bookkeeping task you automated.
Click Share
Click Share on the artifact. You can then share it with anyone you work with.
Fique atento a
Sending the raw session text: at some point it becomes unreadable for a colleague who was not there.
Sending a static HTML file instead: it can be outdated within a couple of iterations or minutes, while the artifact is one hosted page.
In this video the feature is available on the Teams and Enterprise plans, so check your plan if you cannot find it.
Expect a short wait: the example artifact took about two minutes to create.
