   Create your Apify account

   Sign up for Apify. Every account gets $5 of free credits each month, and you pay per usage after that. Once your account is created, click Go to Console.

   Create an Apify API token

   In the Console, open Settings, then API and integrations. Under the personal API token section, click Create a new token and copy it.

   Connect Apify to Claude Code

   Open Claude Code. Either add Apify's custom connector, or paste your Apify key into Claude Code. Claude keeps track of the key and reuses it on later runs.

   Level 1: scrape trending posts in your niche

   Paste the trend reader prompt, swapping "AI" for your niche. Keep the dollar cap so the test stays cheap, and keep the documentation line if Claude has never used Apify before. Wait for the run to finish.

   Question the trend data

   Read Claude's summary of what it collected (in the video: 8 search angles with 100 queries each). Then ask follow-up questions about the angle you care about. If the first answer misses, just ask again. Turn what you find into content, for example contrarian takes on what is trending.

   Level 2: pull one creator's posts

   Open a new Claude Code session. Paste the profile URL of a creator in your niche and send the tracker prompt. Claude uses Apify to collect that person's full post history, which you can use to quote, remix or reply quickly.

   List your creators in a Google Sheet

   Create a Google Sheet listing the creators you want to follow across different niches, with their X, YouTube or Instagram profiles. This becomes the input for your daily run.

   Schedule it as a daily routine

   In Claude Code, click More, then Routines (in Cowork, use Schedule Tasks). Describe the morning job in plain words. Expect it to cost a few cents per day.
