How to Actually Find Any Claude Skill
You will ask Claude to search GitHub for well-rated skill repositories on any topic, review what it brings back, and install the skills you want locally.

Step by step
Open Claude Code or Cowork
Open Claude Code. The video uses Claude Code for the demo, but the same request works in Claude Cowork.
Pick the kind of skill you need
Decide which area you want skills for. The example in the video is design. Keep one topic per request so the results stay focused.
Point Claude at GitHub
Plan to send Claude to GitHub. Think of it as a huge Google Drive full of information: most skills are built by developers, so that is where the good ones live. You only need to know that, not how to code.

Send the request. Claude goes through GitHub one repository at a time and gathers the information for you. It can also find and install the skills for you, so you can step away until it finishes.
Review the repositories it found
Read the list Claude brings back. Stars work like likes, so a high count signals a well-known repo. In the video, results include Claude Code Superpowers (about 250,000 stars) and the official Anthropic skills. Tell Claude which ones to install.
Go deeper with a dynamic workflow
If five repos are not enough, ask Claude Code to dig deep using a dynamic workflow. Use it to collect skills for any use case: marketing, design, sales or general productivity.
Watch out for
Asking for five repos gets you five. For a broad search across many repos, ask Claude to use a dynamic workflow.
Do not assume a repo is good just because it exists: check its star count before you install.
Do not skip GitHub because it looks technical. You do not need to be a developer; Claude does the searching and installing.
