Get Your Money's Worth from Antigravity (2026 Guide)

You will set up an Antigravity workspace with your own gemini.md instructions, then use the Agent Manager to run a business plan, market research and file generation tasks that save results straight into a folder on your computer.
What you need
Antigravity installed (antigravity.google)
An empty folder on your computer to use as a workspace
Step by step
Find the main window and the chat agent
Open Antigravity. The main window shows any document you open. The chat window (the agent) is where you talk to it like ChatGPT. Click the plus symbol to add media (images, videos, sound) or mentions, which point to a file on your computer.
Keep Planning mode on and pick a model
Click the mode button and choose Planning (the other option is Fast). Planning is the better default for any real task. Then open the model selector and choose the brain Antigravity uses: Gemini 3 Pro High, Low, Gemini 3 Flash, or another model such as Claude.
Open a folder as your workspace
Click File, then Open Folder. Choose (or create) a folder on your computer, for example one called Antigravity YouTube, and click Open. Then click the Explorer window to see the folder's contents.
Create a gemini.md file to set the agent's behavior
In the Explorer, click the new file button and name the file gemini.md. Type your instructions in plain words, then press Control+S to save. The agent in this workspace will follow them every time. You can also put a framework in it, for example one to follow whenever you ask for website changes.

Switch to the Agent Manager
Click Open Agent Manager. Your workspaces list works like projects in ChatGPT: pick your folder to see past conversations, click the plus symbol to start a new one that can use all the files in that folder, or click the workspace button to change folders.
Use the Playground for quick questions
Open the Playground when you just want to ask something simple that does not belong to any project. Think of it as a chat window with no memory.
Run several use cases at once
Start a conversation and paste a business plan request. While it works, start another conversation with a research request. Grant access when it asks. Each one builds a task list and an implementation plan you can review before it does the work, so you can move on to other tasks meanwhile.

Ask it to create a file in your folder
Ask for a file to be saved in the workspace. When it finishes, click the new file to open it. It lives on your computer, so you can send it to someone. The same approach works for HTML dashboards or financial reports.

Watch out for
Picking Claude in the model selector does not mean you are using Claude Code: you are still using Antigravity, just with a different model.
Antigravity can access every file on your computer (that is how mentions work), so choose your workspace folder with care.
Your gemini.md instructions only take effect once the file is saved (Control+S or close the tab).
The Playground has no project and no memory, so use a workspace for anything you want to come back to.
