Build a 3D Learning Game with Claude Fable 5
You will turn one plain-language prompt into an interactive 3D solar system app built by Claude Fable 5 in Claude Code, then explore it and reuse the same approach for any subject you want to learn.
Was Sie brauchen
Claude Code (I recommend it; Cowork also works)
Access to the Claude Fable 5 model
About 10 to 30 minutes for the build to run
Schritt für Schritt
Sketch what you want to learn
Draw a quick picture of the finished app before you prompt. I draw the sun in the center, planets orbiting around it, each planet as a 3D model with its own moons, and a place to read each planet's characteristics.
Open Claude Code
Open Claude Code to run the build. You can also use Cowork, but I recommend Claude Code for this.
Paste the solar system prompt
Paste the prompt below. It asks for full 3D, correct orbit and spin directions, orbiting moons, clickable planets with their characteristics, and extra learning features. It lets Claude choose between a single HTML file and a Next.js app.
Prompt from the videoCreate a 3D simulation of the entire solar system. I want to be able to pan around the view. Everything should be in 3D. The planets should orbit in the correct direction and spin in the correct direction as well. Their moons should orbit around them. I want to be able to click on a planet and see its characteristics, such as mass, radius, surface temperature, age, and a few cool facts about the planet itself. You can build this as an HTML file or a Next.js application, whichever you think fits best. On top of this, add any other useful features that would help me learn as much as possible about the solar system.
Select Claude Fable 5 and the effort level
Select Claude Fable 5 in the model picker before sending. I run it at max effort, but high works fine too. You do not need max effort to get a good result.
Send it and let it run
Send the prompt and leave it working. Fable 5 is a slow model because it reasons more than Opus 4.8. I expected 10 to 20 minutes, and the build took 30, mostly because it clicked through the interface to check that everything worked.
Explore planets, moons and facts
Open the finished app. Zoom in and click the sun or any planet to see its type, mass, radius, surface temperature and age. Switch from planet to planet and look at their moons (most of them, since some planets have hundreds).
Try the display controls
Turn the orbits, labels and asteroid belts on and off. Switch to True Scale to see how small the planets are compared with the distances between them.
Worauf Sie achten sollten
Forgetting to switch the model: select Claude Fable 5 yourself before sending, or the prompt runs on another model.
Expecting a quick result: this build takes a long time (30 minutes in the video), so don't stop it early.
Using Fable 5 for business tasks: I find Opus 4.8 is the better choice there, and Fable 5 is for creative, 3D and simulation work.
Waiting too long to try it: when I recorded the video, I said Fable 5 would only be available for about twelve more days.
