# AI Mentor Skill Prompts

These are the prompts I use in "Turn Any Expert into Your AI Mentor". Replace the parts in [brackets] with your own expert, framework and offer.

## Part 1: Build a skill from written content (book, PDF, article)

1. Upload the book, PDF or article to Claude.

2. Find the framework:

Hey Claude, can you please read this book and then tell me where in this book is mentioned [the framework, e.g. the value equation] by [expert]?
```

3. Turn it into a skill:

```
Hey Claude, right now I want to take [the framework] and I want you to create a skill that will allow me to benchmark the [offers / work] that I am creating against [the framework] and you will have to give me insights on how I can make this [offer] better.
```

4. Review Claude's test run, then click **Save Skill**.

5. Use the skill on your own case:

```
Hey, I run [your business]. I would like to know what you think about [your offer]. I want you to use the skill you just created.
```

If Claude asks follow-up questions and you only want the analysis:

```
This is the offer. I just want you to analyze this offer. This is the final offer.
```

## Part 2: Build a skill from a YouTube video

1. Get the transcript: on YouTube, go into the description and click **Show Transcript**, then copy it into Claude.

   Optional, if Claude is connected to Apify (paste the video link):

Hey, can you please use the Apify scraper to get the transcript of this video?
```

2. Create a skill from one section of the video:

```
I would like you to create a skill that actually helps me [goal, e.g. ideate bonuses] that I can use for any given offer that I create, please. The input will be [an offer], and the output should be [five ideas of bonuses] by using [the framework] that I could include.
```

3. Review the test run, then click **Save**.

## Reminders from the video

- Longer source content usually gives you a better skill.
- Creating a skill can take four to five minutes, and longer for complex frameworks.
- Small mistakes in your prompt are fine. Claude will usually understand what you meant.
- An AI mentor imitates the expert. It might get you 85 to 90 percent of the way there, never beyond the expert.
- Copy-pasting a YouTube transcript is often faster than fetching it with Apify.
