Why I Post an AI Video Every Single Day
This one is different from my usual tutorials. It is the real intro to my channel: where I come from, why I care about AI education, and why I have committed to posting a video every single day. If you have ever wondered who is behind these walkthroughs and what the plan actually is, this is the answer. It is a short video, under three minutes, but it explains the ambition behind everything else you will find on this site.
1. A decade of teaching first (0:00)
From the very start of the video I put my cards on the table: one of my biggest passions in life has always been education. I have been educating people in diverse things, from sports to science, for over a decade now. Long before AI entered the picture, the through line of my work was the same: take something hard, break it down, and get real people to actually use it. That habit is why every video on this channel ends with something you can go do.
2. When ChatGPT changed everything (0:17)
Back when ChatGPT was released in November 2022, I knew generative AI was going to be something big. This was not a cold start for me: I had studied artificial intelligence back in my years as a physicist, so when the wave arrived I could see what was underneath it. And when that moment happened, I immediately switched. I did not wait to see how it would play out, and I did not treat it as a side interest. I knew I wanted to educate people on this subject, and everything I have done professionally since then has followed from that one decision.
3. Becoming an AI change manager at Schneider Electric (0:35)
That decision took me to Schneider Electric, a company doing about forty billion euros in revenue right now, where I became a generative AI change manager. Within a team of three, we ran seminars, webinars, and workshops, educating everyone from C-level executives to students and apprentices. That experience settled it: this was what I wanted to do, and I wanted to bring it to scale. So I started helping more and more businesses integrate AI and upskill their people. Right now, that is what I do for a living.
4. Why I started this channel (1:06)
The channel exists because I want to take part in the whole change that is coming. Frankly speaking, three years ago I would never have imagined that creating something like the website I show on screen would be possible within one single prompt, built with Fable 5 back when we still had it. I think the level of geniuses we will have in the near future, thanks to technologies like these, will be absolutely massive.
I will be honest about the uncertainty too: we do not know where we are going, because we have never been there. But I do feel that humans have a tendency to use technology for good, and that change in general is just always painful. Both things are true at once, and pretending otherwise would be bad teaching.
5. Using AI for good (1:55)
The moment that crystallized this for me: I recently saw a video of a guy who used AI to plan out an entire system to help his mom with Alzheimer's. He created systems to always check up on her. It made me realize we will always have more problems than we have solutions. And right now, thanks to generative AI, we are going to be able to tackle many more problems that were not profitable to solve before, simply because this technology gives people access to so much knowledge. That is the version of AI I want to teach: not hype, but leverage against real problems.
6. A new video every day (2:26)
So here is the commitment. Each and every single day I post a video, either on my perspective on the future thanks to generative AI, or on the things I am working on. All of my projects, whether physics related, education related, or business related, get shared here along with my thinking. When I recorded this, I was on day fourteen or fifteen of pushing out a video daily, and the streak is the point: showing up every day is how you learn in public and how the library of practical walkthroughs on this site gets built.
